Twitter’s New Policy Limits the Number of Tweets You Can Read

This new policy limits the number of tweets you can read per day. To stop the spread of certain tweets that are guilty of spreading misinformation. As users tend to share unverified information which goes viral regularly.

-Verified accounts are limited to reading 10k posts/day
-Unverified accounts to 1k posts/day
-New unverified accounts to 0.5k pots/day

Why did Twitter implement this policy?

No! official statement was provided by Twitter. However, Elon Musk said that this new policy won’t remain for long and is only meant to stop the spread of misinformation on the platform. This new policy will strictly scrutinise false reporting of events, false accusations, and the spread of information from a broader perspective.
